New Environment Build + Updated GDD!


Uploaded a new, edited (shortened) GDD with less of my rambling/commentary and some updated notes/gameplay descriptions, as well as a few new screenshots. Check it out in downloads!

I also have spent some time (and I'm still not done) rebuilding the first two areas' environments using the Pure Nature: Redwoods pack (available on the Unity Asset Store; assets by BK) which is a GORGEOUS set of vegetation and props! I was originally using redwood trees I made using Broccoli Tree Creator but redwoods are built somewhat different than other trees and I couldn't quite get them to look right (the ferns, however, were still created using Broccoli, and TVE was used for interaction with plants and grass).

So far so good, I have a lot to rebuild but I'm having fun with it and using the beautiful new assets. I was going to replace them in final versions, I had intended to make all the major artwork including models myself but...gosh they look so nice, and it does fit my art style so...I guess we'll see?
